Auteur is a curation game built on top of Farcaster. You hold $AUTEUR, recast work worth seeing, and earn when your selections are funded.
You do not need a separate voting interface. Curation happens through ordinary Farcaster recasts. Authors can earn too, even if they have never opened Auteur before.
Current architecture
Auteur is currently administered offchain for funding and moderation, while reward liabilities and claims are settled through the Ethereum Mainnet vault.
- Hold $AUTEUR and open the mini app once.
- Recast work on Farcaster that you believe deserves attention.
- Your token balance becomes curation power, spread across your selections.
- Every 48 hours, funded casts reward their authors and the curators who surfaced them.
- Rewards become claimable from the Ethereum vault.
Your selections determine where your power goes. $AUTEUR determines how much power you have.
Rewards backing
Around 5B $AUTEUR was initially placed in the rewards vault for epoch distributions.
Around 15B $AUTEUR was placed in a non-cancelable Sablier lock, running from August 9, 2026 through November 9, 2027. Together, the vault allocation and lock represent roughly 20% of the token supply committed to ecosystem rewards.
