Become a curator

To participate in curation:

1. Hold a positive $AUTEUR balance in a wallet affiliated with your Farcaster account.
2. Open the Auteur mini app once.
3. Recast eligible casts on Farcaster during the active epoch.

There is currently no protocol-level minimum balance beyond holding more than zero. A larger eligible balance creates more curation power, but making more selections spreads that power more thinly.

What counts as a selection

The live curation signal is a Farcaster recast from an eligible curator during the epoch window.

• Likes and quote casts do not count.
• Self-recasts dilute the curator's power but receive no curator reward.
• Removing a recast later does not currently remove the recorded selection.

The final eligibility of a cast for funding is separate from whether the recast was recorded.

Claim rewards

After settlement, rewards become claimable in the Ethereum vault. Claims accumulate across epochs until the receiving wallet calls claim().

The mini app can prepare that transaction, but the claim itself is an Ethereum Mainnet transaction signed by the recipient. The wallet needs a small amount of ETH for gas.

If rewards were credited to more than one affiliated wallet, each credited address claims its own balance separately.
