Role in the game

$AUTEUR is the asset that determines curation power.

Holding more lets a curator allocate more total power during an epoch. Selectivity still matters because that total power is divided across every selection the curator makes.

The token is not staked, locked, burned, or spent when a curator recasts. The same eligible balance can provide curation power in each epoch in which it is held and snapshotted.

Reward allocation

Approximately 20% of the total $AUTEUR supply has been committed to long-term ecosystem distribution:

• approximately 5B $AUTEUR was placed in the reward vault for epoch distributions;
• approximately 15B $AUTEUR was placed in a non-cancelable Ethereum vesting stream;
• the stream runs from August 9, 2026 through November 9, 2027.

The Sablier lock can be verified through its Ethereum Mainnet transaction.

Together these allocations represent approximately 20B $AUTEUR, or roughly 20% of supply.
